Today, as I was going to a swimming pool with my gym class, I passed
a cat on the road. Apparently it had been run over. So I did what any self-respecting cat-obsesser would do: I
became temporarily traumatized- until I distracted myself with a Coca-Cola bottle and my notebook. Then, on the way
back, we passed the cat again. Saying a little prayer for it, I asked God to to take care of it.
I ask now for a moment of silence for this poor feline.
I don't know exactly how many cats are thrown out into the street, hit
by cars, or basically just abused in some way, and frankly, I don't want to know. I would merely like to know how to
cut those numbers in half, and half, and half...
